The Hobbit: The desolation of smaug I'll buy and watch the third one eventually but next I plan to watch Pan's Labyrinth. I haven't seen that one in ages.

This is all Tuomas' fault (yeah I know that's me being silly) He's the one that suggested this movie in some random interview saying it was the scariest movie he's seen in a long time. I so wish I'd never watched it and I'm glad I only rented it from the library.
The movie: It Follows It was extremely excruciatingly disturbing. Not just because of the being stalked feeling, which is just great for me considering I'm naturally paranoid. It was scary because of how surreal it was. It was disturbing because every other scene was a sex scene. It just gave a very disturbing view of the world and intimacy. It brings to light certain sick truths about the pressure the world can put on someone to be sexually active and some of the imagery was just down right jarring as well as sickening. I would give anything just to forget about 75% of the movie.
I ended up getting only 2 hours of sleep after and I had to run out and throw the DVD in my car (no way was I keeping that in the house)
So if you're looking for a good scare, go for it. If you get really disturbed by certain sexual encounters though, then I'd steer clear of this one.
